Awesome-o
This was just a matter of being in the right place at the right time. I was looking for another booth, and right when I found it, there was a big gathering of people in front of another booth, and all of a sudden, a big voice comes out saying "Ladies and Gentlemen, I present you... ASIMO!!!" and then it finally hit me... "Awesome-O!" So that's where they came up with that name for the one South Park where Cartman dresses up as a robot called "Awesome-O"Posted by mchiu at 11:24 AM | Comments (0) | TrackBack
Booth babe and a car
Not sure what booth this was at, and not sure what they were selling, but just had to snap up this pic since it had a booth babe posing in front.Posted by mchiu at 11:12 AM | Comments (0) | TrackBack
Booth babe with a car with a waterfall
I don't understand the point of having a waterfall from your hatchback, but I understand the point of having a booth babe at a trade show, and they were at least successful in getting me to go to the booth and snap up some pix...Posted by mchiu at 11:06 AM | Comments (0) | TrackBack
Retro Car Interior
The interior of this car was pretty cool. I like the minimalist look of this, and that huge analog spedometer.Posted by mchiu at 11:00 AM | Comments (0) | TrackBack
Retro Car
This was a pretty cool looking retro type of car. There is another picture of its interior. Again, I have no idea what they were selling, but it was a cool photo-op.Posted by mchiu at 10:59 AM | Comments (0) | TrackBack
Absolute car
Cool looking car at CES. The great thing about this booth was that the booth babe signing autographs was wearing this bikini top where one boob had "Abso" and the other boob had "Lute" written on it... I think Abso looked better than Lute...Posted by mchiu at 10:28 AM | Comments (0) | TrackBack
An orange Z
Cool looking car, and in honor of my friend Stacy, I had to take this pic. I guess it's just missing the neon lights underneath... he he hePosted by mchiu at 10:21 AM | Comments (0) | TrackBack

Terry needs money
Terry looks like he desperately needs money after blowing it all at the tables and food. Boy does he look desperate!Posted by mchiu at 06:09 PM | Comments (0) | TrackBack
Creative Booth Babe
Every year at CES, I just have to visit the Creative booth since they always seem to have the hottest booth babes, and are probably one of the only tech companies that has them. It was pretty busy at the booth, but I was able to snap up this quick shot.Posted by mchiu at 02:26 PM | Comments (0) | TrackBack
Terry, Dip, and booth babe at iriver
Terry and Kuldip posing in front of the enormous iRiver booth. The booth was gigantic for only displaying two products: the U10 and the T10... Not even the N10 was being displayed...Posted by mchiu at 01:12 PM | Comments (0) | TrackBack
Motorcycle with DVD
I guess the technology is available, but I simply can't see the point of putting a display on a motorcycle like this.Posted by mchiu at 12:30 PM | Comments (0) | TrackBack
Deathmobile
Interesting looking car. Wasn't sure what was up with the cemetery speakers theme in here, but pretty cool nonetheless.Posted by mchiu at 12:28 PM | Comments (0) | TrackBack

Tons International
Another Chiense company with a name representing huge quantities.Posted by mchiu at 09:12 AM | Comments (0) | TrackBack
Billionton
Terry seemed to get a kick out of this Chinese company names that used words representing large numbers. I guess Billionton was clearly the winner. Interestingly enough, I have bought products from this company, and they have some pretty slick looking stuff, but their instructions are horrible... at least the ones in English.Posted by mchiu at 09:09 AM | Comments (0) | TrackBack
The IP
I guess it's mainly people like me, Corey, Frankie, and Jerry that seem to enjoy staying at the luxurious Imperial Palace Hotel to inspire the taking of this picture. For some reason, this display is in the back of the hotel, but it seems more fitting to put it in the front of the hotel. Interesting story about the IP on this past trip to the IP was when Terry mentioned that he has no idea why we like this hotel so much, when we could all afford much nicer places... basically, we are still stuck in this high-school/college mentality for getting a cheap place. At $49/$69 per night for this past trip, it was really hard to say "no" compared to CES rates of $159/$199 per night at most other places. Plus, the IP is in such a convenient location right in the center of the strip, plus it's one stop away from the convention center on the monorail, that it is just a good deal I guess.Posted by mchiu at 08:08 AM | Comments (0) | TrackBack
